I was born to write. Everything in my body builds until it is unbearable and I find myself unable to proceed in any fashion until I bleed it all out onto the pages. I have one of the most unique lives and experiences of anyone I’ve ever met. I suppose it is no surprise that life would task with me sharing it at the capacity written form has to offer. Or maybe it is just a result of an intensely lonely childhood and my sole escape coming in the form of books.
At any rate this body has been in a state of suffering since my earliest memories. Though I had no words for it. Memories of fear. Loneliness. Rejection. Longing. I don’t remember ever feeling safe. Secure. Loved. Though I have been provided for. The misleading appearances and facades only served to intensify the disparity of my belonging.
I don’t wish to dwell on the past. On the abuses of those who suffered from their own flaws of character. Given or received. But I do wish to bring down the curtains around the magnitude of injustice we fail to acknowledge. An entire system perpetuating abusive patterns we have become so ingrained in we have learned to protect it. I am not special in anyway that I can tell. Except for the sensitivities of my experience. There is no way for me to know if I was born with them or if it is a result of my unusual background.
I’ve discovered abilities read only in sci-fi books. My lack of healthy patterns or attachments seems to have given me an advantage in freeing myself from the system we find ourselves navigating. Their biggest secret the simplicity of our escape route. They have poisoned us. In our food. Our water. Our air. Our clothes. Our receipts. Everywhere. Our bodies are weak. They infuse our intellect with chaos, distraction and conflict on our tvs and radios. Normalizing even glorifying the complete disruption of a healthy nervous system in which our ability to reason, create and thrive is entirely disabled.
We can barely remember the powerful healing found in sunlight. In healthy soil. In clean water. We are living in apocalyptic times where only the wealthy and extremely disciplined have access to the simplicity of riches our basic nature thrives on. Including each other. Our acceptance. Our support. Our love. Our embrace.
What can you do today to help change the world? Drink real water. Eat real plants. Walk barefoot for even a few moments on the soil. Let your skin soak up a few minutes of the sun. Hold an embrace in which you find yourself longer than you dare. Until your shoulders drop. Until your breath deepens. Until your heart regulates. Consent approved of course. Listen to your heart today. Stop running from it. Put your hand over it and forgive yourself every perceived flaw. Ask for what you need. And trust that you deserve it. Be gentle with yourself. Heal your heart.
We live in a holographic universe. Scientifically speaking. Which implies that there is no fractal piece that does not contain the whole. It is a natural inference that generating health and joy and truth in your very mind, body and spirit directly impacts the entirety of existence. Science.
Together we are making a world we can celebrate life in instead of escaping from it. The world is full of strange and wonderful things the likes of which fairy tales could not compare. I’ve seen it for myself. What makes you miserable is a lie. Today you can breath, eat, drink and connect.
Choose for yourself. Dream for yourself. Create for yourself. You have no idea the powers that be which lay in wait to guide you. Support you. In mad, deep love with all of you. Waiting for you to claim it for yourself.
Today friends. It’s your day. Everyday.
